Tuber Sale 2026

One of the things we love most about growing dahlias is that there is always more to learn. Every season brings something new, whether it is a variety that surprises us, a lesson from the weather, or a reminder that growing flowers is as much about patience as it is about planning.

Over the years, we have also seen how intimidating dahlia growing can feel, especially for new growers. Certain varieties can be expensive, information can be overwhelming, and there can be a quiet pressure to get everything right on the first try. That complexity can make it hard to know where to get started.

We believe dahlias should be approachable. They should invite curiosity, experimentation, and a little bit of surprise. Some of our favorite moments during the growing season come from plants we did not expect to love, or blooms that showed up later than planned but were worth the wait. Those experiences are a big part of what keeps us growing year after year.

That thinking is what led us to create our dahlia class packs. Our goal is simple: Make it easier for people to get started, keep the cost reasonable, and bring back some of the fun that comes with not knowing exactly what the season will deliver. Each pack will include five tubers selected at random from our own inventory. While the selection is a surprise, every tuber will be clearly labeled so you will know what you are growing.

These packs are not about chasing specific varieties or perfect results. They are about growing confidence, paying attention, and enjoying the process. They are meant for gardeners who are excited to see what happens, who are okay with a few unknowns, and who understand that every growing season is different.

As always, growing flowers comes with no guarantees. Location, climate, and individual growing conditions all play a role. But we have found that when expectations are grounded and curiosity leads the way, the rewards often show up in unexpected and meaningful ways.

We are looking forward to sharing these class packs soon and to seeing how they grow in gardens beyond our own. More than anything, we hope they help make dahlia growing feel a little more accessible, a little less intimidating, and a lot more fun.
